Born in Turin, Italy, in 1976, Pietro Reviglio has exhibited in the United States, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom. He studied painting at the Art Students League of New York with Robert Cenedella and Mary Beth McKenzie, and animation at the School of Visual Arts. He is alumnus of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences of Columbia University, New York, from where he received his Ph.D. in Astrophysics. 
Applying a scientific approach to the analysis of visual elements and using physics as a pictorial medium, his work experiments with the physical process of image formation and perception, visual narrative and the kinematics of images, exploring the borderline between the rational and the irrational, the conceptual and the physical, the mathematically predictable and the stochastic.
Recent exhibitions include Palazzo Farnese (Rome), the 54th Venice Biennial, Columbia University (New York), the Museum of Oriental Art (Turin) and the Ishida Taisheisha Hall (Kyoto).
Nato a Torino nel 1976, Pietro Reviglio ha esposto negli Stati Uniti, in Italia, in Giappone e nel Regno Unito.
